Dale Sikon

Dale is a regular at Shady Lane. Dale started racing when he was 4 years old and he started out here at Shady Lane. Last year he won our Race Maker Award. He raced almost all the local races here. He missed only one race to attend the 2009 Midwest Regional Finals in Illinois. We are proud to call him a Shady Lane local. In order to get to understand Dale better we asked him a few questions.

Where are you from? I am from Lagrange Ohio

How long have you been racing? This is my third year.

What rider class are you? 6 Rookie

What is your favorite track? Shady Lane.

Who is your favorite rider? Matt Hardy because he can clear the pro section.

What do you like best about racing? Jumping whenever I can

What do you like least about racing? When I don’t come in first.

What do you consider your best skill? Jumping the first tabletop at Shady Lane

Do you have any special goals for your BMX future in mind? To get another big trophy like last year’s State Trophy.

What are your most recent BMX accomplishments? 2009 LEAP 1st Place, 2009 Ohio State award 2nd Place, 2009 Midwest Regional 4th Place, 2008 LEAP 2nd Place.
